Roma defender Lorenzo Giuliano has signed a one-year contract with the club.
The 28-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Bologna, will wear the number 23 shirt at the Stadio Olimpico.
He has signed with the Giallorossi until the end of the 2017/18 season.
The versatile Italian defender was also recently included in the Italian squad for the 2018 World Cup, where he featured for his country.
“I am very happy to join Roma and play for them,” he said.
“I can’t wait to start playing football with the national team.
The Giallorus have given me the opportunity to learn more and to show that I’m still good enough to play for a club like Roma.
It was always my dream to play in Serie A, but I’ve now seen that I can still play at the highest level.”
Giuliano will make his Roma debut in the 2017-18 season against Udinese on March 31, when the Giallsi face Parma.
He made 29 appearances last season, scoring three goals.
Giuli made his first start in the club’s Champions League tie against FC Midtjylland on May 12.
