Google’s internal report found that the security team only discovered new threats in the last five years and the security vulnerabilities were discovered after a significant amount of time.
Researchers also revealed that Google Security didn’t have enough resources to deal with new threats.
According to the report, Google Security was only able to detect three new threats within the past five years, which means it has no way of knowing how many other attacks exist.
Google’s security department has been facing a wave of criticism after it was discovered that the company used outdated technologies.
Google is reportedly looking into using a “full scale” automated security program to protect the company.
